They're building it up as make or break week for Tony Blair what with the vote on tuition fees and the publication of the Hutton Report. The papers and news stories are full of gloom and doom for the Prime Minister.
Well, let me stick my neck out and make a couple of predictions. Firstly, that Blair will win his vote. Secondly, that he although he will be bruised by the Hutton Report and the subsequent debate on it his opponents will not quite be able to deliver the knockout blow.

This is British politics at its slapstick best. Surely no one who is used to the posturing, self seeking, narcissistic MPs, especially the loony left, can take this nonsense seriously? There is not one Labour backbencher who does not know from one minute to the next, exactly what the head count is, and who isnt prepared to tip the scales in favour of safety first. There is no way that Blair can lose this vote-no way. Turkeys, even loony left turkeys do not vote for Christmas.
As for the Hutton report, who appointed Hutton to do this job? As I say, turkeys do not vote for Christmas, even legal eagle turkeys.
I fear the cynical Harold is right. However, better to have a wounded Blair than a fully-functioning Brown.
Cynical! Moi?
But I take no pleasure from being right. Modern democracy is legal rape of the gullible public by the hidden massive minority, the metastasising cancer of the left-liberal elite network, new cronies/Lords/Quangos/comittees daily. Its like those films where the evil monster you thought reliably dead gets up and bites yer ass. An unkillable Medusa. Vote Libertarian or nothing! Hans-Herman Hoppe for King!
