Gosh, how totally shocking that this is being spun as a victory for the piss-taking POS. It's pretty bad when even Ken Livingston agrees that your union has no business standing up for you.

LUL's management are astonishingly daft, if the Telegraph article is true. If you're going to sack someone, then you obviously need to raise everything that's even vaguely wrong with them at the disciplinary hearing, in case they do take it to a tribunal.

That's exactly the sort of thing HR people are paid to make sure happens (certainly, they don't seem to particularly justify the spend in any other ways...)
